Application;Maternity leave Benefit 79 after joining of service.
A regular doctor appointed through UPSC requests for maternity leave after 79 days of joining the govt.service, as she underwent Caesarian Section on the morning of 80eth day of her joining of service(the day of Caesarian Section is the first day of applied maternity leave).Can she get the maternity leave benefit as it is told that rule says "maternity benefit can be availed after minimum of 80 days of joining the service".
Kindly give advise.
she is operated on 80eth day(please read 80eth day instead of 90eth day)
